How to add niche targeted followers to Twitter daily (video)

How to generate 1000 niche targeted followers on Twitter daily! Really?

In my pursuit for Twitter excellence, one of the things I have found to be most beneficial is to pay close attention to the terms of service on Twitter, as well as their blog.

Studying their terms closely revealed that Twitter will only allow you to follow 1000 people per day to your Twitter account as a standard user.

Something else I learned is that once you have followed 2000 people, you won’t be allowed to follow anymore until you have at least 2000 following you.

While I suppose you could look at these rules in a couple of different ways, I chose to rise to the challenge. “So,” I thought, “you are permitted to follow 1000 per day, eh?” Let’s see what I can do to make that happen everyday.

As my quest continued, I found a couple of key resources that helped me increase the numbers on a daily basis. It wasn’t long before I realized that I could use the same strategy I was already using( to add hundreds per day) and combine it with these newly found resources and easily reach 1K A Day!

And then it happened… 200 per day, 300 per day, 500 per day and then bam… 1000 niche targeted followers to my Twitter account in a 24 hour period.

I am finding that the more finite and targeted that I build my base, the faster it grows.  Quality attracts quality and the quality accounts get a lot of traffic.  People are searching for quality lists and databases through Twitter.  If your list and database fits the bill, not only do you get more quality traffic, you get more word of mouth endoresement through RT’s… and we all know that the best form of promotion and advertising, in existence, is word of mouth.

Here are a few tips that you can use to greatly increase your niche follower base on Twitter…

1.) Use Twollow.com for keyword search/automated following. This is a free service that allows you to enter five primary keywords that best describe your niche. The system will then automatically follow anyone who is profiled or Tweeting within your target audience.

2.) Unfollow those who don’t follow you back. If you don’t make this a habit, your Twitter account will become ineffective. After I follow someone, I generally give them 48 to 72 hours to follow me back, otherwise I unfollow. Chances are that most of the people that don’t follow back are not very active and that’s not who you want in your system.

3.) Remove ANY bots that don’t match your niche and have a unique follower base. Also be sure to remove adult related content. People look to see who you are following. If you don’t remove the garbage, it can bleed into the accounts of others. Most educated Tweeters know this and won’t follow you. A big follower base means nothing if it’s not clean, active and targeted. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Numbers are great when they are the RIGHT numbers.

I have also created a new video called “1K A Day!” that shows you everything in step by step detail.

Automating Twitter for the purpose of generating followers and traffic!

Nothing stirs up controversy among the hard core Tweeters like the subject of automation. While some have no problem turning themselves into a mere robot, others believe (at the extreme end) that the automation of Twitter falls right in line with Armageddon.

As many of you know, I look at and try everything when it comes to Twitter (for the most part). If there’s a training or resource out there that looks appealing, I try it out. If it works, I add it to Micro Blogging Muscle, Twitter Me This or I just blog about about? (Is blog both a verb and a noun?)

Anyway, back on point here. I’ve written of this before, but after watching another of the EXPERTS give their two cents on Twitter automation yesterday I wanted to share some ideas with those (and for those) who are choosing to replace themselves with automated Twitter tools.

In my last blog post I talked about the social networks being “social” and even provided the definition of the word “social” according to Websters online.

I’m all for using any Twitter resource that I can to build relationships because I understand that those friendships and business connections will lead to further friendships and business connections. If you are using the automated Twitter apps to bypass people, you are missing out on opportunities that could turn into friendships, fame and fortune.

The law of success is service! We make money by making friends and we enlarge our circle of friends by making money FOR THEM, by helping THEM, by being of service to THEM! You can make a money magnet of yourself, but to do so you must first consider how you can make money for other people. What benefits one must benefit all” – Charles Haanel, The Master Key System

If I am automating Twitter for only the purposes of gain for self the end result will be certain failure. “The germ of defeat exists in every selfish thought (again, MKS)”.

When it comes to adding followers to Twitter, quantity is important, but QUALITY must not be overlooked. This is why using niche specific strategies when using Twitter for business and marketing is so important.

Creating a niche specific twitter account will do a couple of things for you. First, it will provide you with quality traffic unlike most have ever experienced. Second, it will increase conversion ratios significantly. Using one niche specific Twitter account we are averaging (no joke) 9% conversion rate from sales to leads.

So for those who want to automate Twitter, great… but use your noodle. Here are a couple of pointers that will help you along:

1.) Use directories to find and follow niche specific people. WeFollow is a GREAT resource for this, as is Twellow and a few others. People will follow you back, no worries there. Look for people with large numbers of followers in your niche and follow them. This will bring more followers.

2.) Use TweetLater to ASSIST you in keeping up with the communication of your new followers. Everyone should get a welcome message from you, but you won’t have time to do them manually. Format your messages in such a way that they open the lines of communication… i.e. – “Thanks for following, how are you today?” works well. Not everyone will reply, but your message will fall much lighter on their hearts if it’s not just spam.

3.) Use Twollo to help you follow more niche specific people on Twitter using their keyword based system. This will aid you in the addition of followers.

If I haven’t driven the point home loud and clear, use the automated resources the way they SHOULD be used… to help others and help yourself, not to replace YOU!

Twitter experimenting reveals interesting results

In 10 years of working online I don’t think I’ve ever seen a system evolve like Twitter is.  Just when you think you’ve got something figured out another change comes along and throws everything off.  Recent changes to the Twitter system have even rendered many of the latest applications useless.

The Auto Direct Message, for example, is quickly becoming a thing of the past.  It appears a combination of both Twitter enthusiasts and Twitter bandwidth have brought this about.  Many of the major social networking applications that were set up for Auto DM have removed it.

So how do you keep up with the changes?  Twitter is becoming much like a puzzle that needs to be resolved every 30 to 45 days so going with the flow appears to be working for some.  That being said, there is one aspect of Twitter that remains constant and, unless the system sinks, won’t change…

… there is really one major WANT that people have concerning Twitter:

They want followers – The more, the better is the current mindset.  However, if you are using Twitter for business and marketing, the more might not be the better if the more isn’t targeted based on your niche.  While I will agree that the numbers are important ( for a couple of reasons ) I won’t agree that just any numbers are the best bet, especially when Twitter and it’s surrounding directories and applications make it so easy to find the RIGHT, niche targeted numbers.

For those who have been following me for a while many of you know that I try just about every Twitter application I find.  I do this for two reasons:  One, so I can share what I’ve learned with my audience to keep them from doing the wrong things and showing them the right things.  Two, as a product developer, I need to know the apps if I am going to teach people how to use them correctly.

Unfortunately, due to recent changes to Twitter, one of my favorite Twitter apps has been rendered completely useless.  Thus, I’ve had to experiment to find new strategies that will continue to generate the results I am used to.

I’m like anyone else, I want a huge follower base because I know ( as a business person ) that the RIGHT numbers equal results.  What I have found, however, is that there are a few resources that have been launched in the last 90 days that work great for generating targeted followers and there are a couple that aren’t so hot unless they are used correctly.

Viral follower generators work well for generating big numbers but don’t always bring you the right numbers if they aren’t advertised to the right people.  For example… viral applications like TweeterGetter and ViralFollowers will generate big numbers, but produce better when the applications are advertised to your specific niche.  Both of these resources include pre-written message copy that can be sent via a safe list, auto responder or social messaging system, but it’s WHO you send these message to that makes the difference.

Those of you using these resources, make sure that you are targeting messaging resources that are going to reach those who are interested in what you have to offer.  While yes, I agree, that everyone wants more followers, sending these messages to just anyone won’t produce the results you are looking for.

Another great application for generating like minded and interest based followers is TweetPenguin.  This system has proven itself worthy in my eyes.  While similar to TweeterGetter and ViralFollowers, this particular system, so far, stays on line with your niche and interests much better that the others.

If you are looking to develop a niche Twitter account for your business, here’s a strategy that you will find useful.

1.)  Create a new Twitter account that you are going to use specifically for your niche.  Whether it’s vitamins, beauty products, or the latest in lotions or potions, make sure that you only add followers to this account that are niche specific.

2.)  To add followers, you can use any of the new directories ( WeFollow.com for example ) to find those who are Tweeting or have show interest in your offering.

3.)  Once you have this system flowing, then incorporate one of the viral follower resources ( listed above ) into that system.  You will find that this brings about more niche specific followers ( yielding greater results ) than just sending out the Tweets that build these systems at random.

Another strategy that works well involves Facebook.  By creating a niche specific group you can not only share content and build value for your brand, you can share the Twitter building resources with that group to begin a viral influx of targeted prospects.  After all, “birds of a feather flock together!”

Keep in mind, that regardless of the targeting, that using these viral tools will bring some followers that aren’t niche specific, but the number of the non niche specific followers will be conisderably less.  Also keep in mind, that even if you do get a few followers that aren’t niche specific, if you are sharing value with your followers consistently ( even if a follower doesn’t need what you are selling ) they will tell their friends because they like what you are doing for others.

How to use BulkTweets for driving targeted followers!

Hello Tweople! Wow, talk about a runaway freight train, good grief! Twitter is spreading like the bird flu ;) !! And how about those Twitter apps? How many hundreds of these things are there now? With so many available, this poses a question… which ones should we be using?

If you are using Twitter for home business development and marketing, then here’s one that you will find useful… it’s called BulkTweet.

Now before you go running over there and get all excited, proceed with caution. If you use this wrong you will lose yout Twitter account.

Here’s what you’re going to want to do…

1.) When you get to the main page, type in a niche market keyword or phrase that best describes your target market. As a home business and Internet marketing specialist, one of the niches I target with this is MLM. MLMers make up a big part of my student base.

2.) The next page will reveal a whole lot of Tweeple that are talking about MLM. Please take note here… not everything that people have to say about your niche is going to be good, so opting to use the “Tweet These Users” button at the top of the page, right now, could be bad new for you.

*NOTE: You can use this for ANY niche… not just MLM, home based business, etc.

3.) Take a couple of minutes, go through the list of users and see who is participating in your niche. Look for tweets where they’ve inquired or shared things that pertain to your niche. If they look like they have potential as a friend, client, etc… follow them.

4.) Should you decide to use the “Tweet These Users” feature, be do not advertise or spam these people. When you use this, your name is going out to every person you chose to Tweet. Use this feature to build reputation and share value.

The inherent power of Twitter is it’s reach, but it’s in knowing how to leverage that reach that one is empowered by this tool. Sharing value is the number one use of Twitter for marketing, in my book. When using the “Tweet These Users” feature…

1.) Start your message with and RT request – This will encourage others to ReTweet your message. If you have shared something great, people will gladly RT for you.

*EXAMPLE: RT I’m reading a great post on how to use BulkTweets to target my niche market. http://bit.ly%2FLyK7q

NOTE: You can go ahead, if you would be so kind, and RT the example message here as this article is going on my blog as well. Thanks!

2.) Share valuable information. Perhaps you found a blog post you liked and want to share it with others… or maybe a funny video from YouTube… or a quote that offers inspiration or stimulates thought.

3.) Finish the Tweet with a shortened URL link to the resource you want to share. This is done easy using TweetDeck or http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://TinyURL.com.

I do not recommend going big the first time you use this. You will find a drop down menu that allows you to chose between 10 and 100 Tweets. Start of small and work your way up over time.

If you use BulkTweets responsibly it’s a great way to make friends and influence potential followers.

Happy Tweeting!

Can you really add 19,000 plus followers to Twitter in 30 days?

Well, I didn’t think so… to be totally honest. In fact, when I saw this in my e-mail when I woke up today I laughed and thought, “wow, what’s next?” “Is it really likely that this tool will help people make money online?”

Then I tried it… and I all I can say… 160 plus followers later (in less than 10 hours) is wow! I’m impressed. It’s a cool system! I’ve had several great conversation with some interesting people today and it’s driving traffic. So yes, this resource will help you make money online!

Tweet Me Right! Twitter Does And Don’ts!

Twitter Me This? What is the best way to use Twitter for home based business and making money online? In my opinion, I don’t think that the use of Twitter differs from any other social resource.

Mingling (for those who are willing to do so) is one of the best ways to use Twitter. There is nothing wrong with participating in a conversation that is taking place publicly. If you see something of interest, chime in. This type of activity is welcome and expected. If people want to chat privately on Twitter, they can form a group or use Direct Messaging. The main reason people chat publicly is because they want the exposure… that’s why they use Twitter.

Twitter is a great tool for learning and growing as well as sharing. The sharing works best, as I have experienced, when the information you are distributing brings about a solution to an issue or a problem that someone else is having trying to build their home based business. If you can provide knowledge to someone, and the knowledge you have shared actually helps them make money online, you have won trust… and that is the key when it comes to developing a responsive database!

Twitter allows you to take the best aspects of social marketing and compacts them all into one neat little package that allows you to move fast and efficiently. Using the right tools, it brings the right people into your world and gives you direct access to open the lines of communication.

I look at Twitter the same way I look at the other social networks.   I see them a large rooms full of people. When I’m in a large room of people, I mingle. One of the best ways to mingle is to find something of common interest via a profile. This makes it easier to open the lines of communication, making things less awkward. For example, anytime I see golf, fishing, ministry, football, etc. on a profile, I will use that to open the conversation. I don’t force my home based business or my products on people, I don’t have to. Business just happens…

To get the most from your Twitter experience there are numerous tools available that will help you manage Twitter as well as generate more followers and build relationships. Most everyone on Twitter has one common goal… to add more friends (followers) as is the case in most social networks. If you are in working a home based business, the chances of generating sign ups and sales increase greatly with the number of people you know.
