Is your number one priority your mailing list?

As an Internet marketer, if your first priority isn’t the building and development of your personal mailing list, then your future as an Internet marketer is probably going to be brief. Day after day, my partner Joe and watch as tens of thousands of marketers try to IMPOSE their business opportunities upon their TRAFFIC RESOURCES only to find that no one is signing up.

The key to success as an Internet marketer IS YOUR MAILING LIST! Ask any of the top marketers, in this industry, and they will tell you the same thing… The Money Is In The List!

You would be amazed at how much you can learn just by WATCHING what the top marketers are doing. I’m not tell you NOT to buy their material, because a lot of it kicks a$$, and you should buy it. However, by simply paying attention to the actions of those who know what they are doing, you will be see, very quickly, that they have the ability to bring people together whether it’s on a mailing list, conference call or webinar.

Here’s are a list of steps you can follow that will help you develop your list…

1.) Find a good incentive to give away and ADVERTISE ONLY THE INCENTIVE. Create a splash page and lead capture page and require people to subscribe to your list in trade for the incentive you are giving away. Make sure that the incentive (free gift) you are offering is of INCREDIBLE VALUE and helps people solve a problem or answer a question.

2.) When creating or looking for a great free incentive to give away, give them away in accordance with the market you would like to target. For example, if you are targeting Internet marketers through traffic exchanges then offer an incentive that shows people how to get great results with traffic exchanges. If you are targeting Internet marketer through the safe lists, then target safe list users with information on how to get great results with safe lists. If you are building a health and nutrition based business opportunity, again, follow along those lines when offering your incentive. This way when you offer something, to your mailing list, based on your target market, you will have an audience who NEEDS and WANTS what you have to sell.

3.) Once people have opted in to your list, continue to give more great information. Your first auto responder letter should deliver the download link for the incentive. The second should follow up to make sure the incentive has been received without difficulty. The third should give more quality information which will aid in generating trust and building a relationship with your subscribers. Letters four and should continue to give, but should also start mentioning the product, service or opportunity you are selling. You can do this through the auto response letter, directly, or through the use of TAG ADS.
